Online learning is on the rise. Mainly due to flexibility of scheduling and cost efficiency provided by the online courses.

Futurelearn is an online learning facility founded in 2013 by The Open University, UK and has a strong presence with 40 partners from the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

The British Council is a UK based organisation specialising in international cultural and educational opportunities. It works in over 100 countries: promoting a wider knowledge of the UK and the English language; encouraging cultural, scientific, technological and educational co-operation with the UK.

British council is conducting a course on Futurelearn which targets anyone who is preparing for the IELTS or similar English language tests. The course will take the learner through each stage of the IELTS test — reading, writing, speaking and listening. At each stage there will be advice from our video tutor and a team of experienced IELTS educators. Best of all it’s free!
